Czech Glassworks part of KVIFF
Various glassworks and porcelain manufacturers will present traditional Czech craftsmanship to the general public during the 58th KVIFF.
As a part of creative workshops, Harrachov Glassworks will present to visitors the decoration of glasses with their own engravings.
The Czech manufacturer of glass Christmas ornaments, Koulier, together with the Czech manufacturers of drinking glassware Květná and the Novosad and Son Harrachov Glassworks, and the largest Czech porcelain manufacturer Thun, will be part of the accompanying program of the 58th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. This will take place as part of the Czech Traditional Crafts event. This workshop will run from June 29 to July 5 this year at the Vřídelní Colonnade in Karlovy Vary.
It will offer film fans a break between screenings. The various glassworks and porcelain manufacturers will not only present a comprehensive display of their work but also offer workshops to all interested, so they can learn a new skill and create something beautiful. Attendees will be able to decorate their own ornament or mug. This year, the Jakub Voráček Foundation will also be presented as part of the 58th KVIFF. The participating glassworks and porcelain manufacturers will donate a portion of the proceeds from the Czech Traditional Crafts event to this foundation.
